BG3 Mod Manager for MAC
For a more personalized gaming experience gamers switch to game mods and Mac OS users were finding problems before the invention of a suitable mod manager for Baldur’s Gate 3. It was a tricky task to BG3 mod manage on MAC and if you want to install BG3 Mod Manager on your MAC for a tailored gaming experience then follow these steps:

- Initially hit the download button.
- Next, navigate to the application folder, get the application, and launch it.
- When you try to launch the app it will not open up and you will observe a security warning stating “You can’t open this application as it is from an unidentified developer”.
- Now open “System Preferences”
- Click on Security and Privacy.
- At the bottom, you will notice a message “baldurs-gate3-mod-manager- was blocked from opening because it is not from an identified developer.” Click on Open Anyway.
Now you can easily launch it.
How To Download and Install Process of BG3 Mod Manager on MAC
This process will provide you to download and install Baldurs Gate 3 (BG3 Mod Manager) on your MacPC without Lag. So do not skip any step as you thing that you had already did because there are different version release which might need another process steps.
- On your Mac PC open Google chrome and open the link “github.com/Whisky-App/Whisky/releases”. Click on Whisky.zip link in assets and it will download automatically.
- Now on new tab open the URL “developer.apple.com/download/all/?q=porting”. You will find “Game Portingtoolkit”, below it there is a Hide detail click on it to open more option. Here you will get “Game porting toolkit 1.dmg”, click on it and it will download automatically.
Note: Now you have to install Whisky application. If you don’t know how to install it then contact us and we will provide proper guide step to get it installed into your Mac PC.
- I already installed Whisky application, now I open the whisky app.
- On new tap browser, open store.steampowered.com page and download Steam app into your pc. (If you had already installed this app then you can skip this option)
- Now go to Whisky app and click on the “Run” button.
- Navigate to the folder where your steam.dmg file downloads. Select Steam app and click on “open” and start install steam app.
- Once installation completed, it will ask run Steam, tick on it and click “finish” button. Steam will start updating automatically.
- Once install done, login page appears where you have to login your steam account follow by account name and password. Once you get account access, click on search bar and type “Baldurs Gate 3” and click on it.
- Once Baldurs Gate 3 page appears, scroll down until you get buy Baldurs Gate 3 free section and then click on “Add to Cart” button. Now you have to buy this game and install it. This will be around 22 USD.
- Now open Whisky > Click on Installed Programs > here you will find Baldurs Gate .exe file here
- Click on “iexplore.exe” icon as you can see below screen. It will redirect to main page.
- Click on “Bottle Configuration” and scroll down until you see “DXVK”
- Now turn on DXVK and DXVK Async button to orange color
Now you can open up your game and play Baldurs Gate 3 BG3 Mod Manager
