Download BG3 Mod Manager [PC Guide]

So, you are ready to manage all the Baldur’s Gate 3 mods with this tool then just hit the download button and manage and assemble all the necessary mods with ease.

Note: Before you install any Mods, go ahead and open up Baldur’s Gate 3 and load up the game and make a character then instantly quit. This way if you are having any issue with the script extender or Mods actually reading because you did open Baldur’s Gate 3 once, it should automatically be fine going in the future.

Installation Process of BG3 Mod Manager for Windows

After ensuring the system requirements you need to follow these steps to install the Mod Manager for BG3 on your Windows device:

The foremost step is to run the game.
Now make sure your computer has installed BG3ModManager_Latest.zip, .NET Framework 4.7.2 and .NET 7.0.13.

After that just hit the download button located at the top.

Its time to extract the zip file and run the mod manager.

The file directories for the executable and game data should be automatically detected by BG3ModManager.exe upon launch.

Note: You can manually configure the paths in Settings -> Preferences if this process is unsuccessful. To load the campaign mod data after saving your choices, click the “Refresh” button.

Now download a mod file from Nexus Mod Manager.

Sort the modifications for the “Public” profile before exporting your active mod load order to the game. Next, select File -> Export Order to Game or click the “Export Load Order to Game” button. By doing this, the game will update the “modsettings.lsx” file with your current active load order.

Note: Once your Mod Manage install and still your PC is not allowing all mods to interact of Balers Gate 3, then follow this step.

To Fix Blaers Gate 3 Mod:

On Nexus Mod page, go to the File section and click on “manually download” button.

Now file is downloaded as you can see i did as manually with file name “ModFixer-pak-141-1-1-1607110233”

Open the folder where you will see the file name “ModFixer.pak” and you have to paste it into your Baldur’s Gate 3> Mods folder.

Suggest: On my pc Mods folder location – C:/user/blood/AppData/Local/Larian Studios/ Baldur’s Gate 3/Mods

Make sure that you enable “show hidden folder” option because Appdata folder is hidden.

How to Download and Install Boulders Skate 3 Script Extender

What it does? Reason to follow this step: Not all mods require these extender but most do because it adds extra scripts, so essentially extra text for the game to read to allow for additional functions for certain mods.

There are two way to download file GitHub and Nexus mods. As we already follow the nexus option in above mod file download, go with the nexus mods option to download and install file.

Go to Files and click on “Manual Download” button.
Now file is downloaded as you can see i did as manually with file name “Dwrite.dll”

Now extract the Dwrite.dll file into your Steam\steam.apps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin.
Open Steam and right click on Baldur’s Gate 3 and option appears. Click on “Properties” for further instruction.

Click on “Installed Files” and click on “Browser” button.

It will directly go to your PC folder where Baldur Gate 3 installed. Go to “Bin” and select the file Dwrite.dll

How to Download and Install DEATH KNIGHT CLASS – CHAMPION OF LICH KING Mods

Note: It will take arthus and the death knights from war of Warcraft and putting it into Baldur’s Gate 3.

Make sure that your Mods manage is up and remember that file location as we do earlier in above mods steps.

Mod Manager Location: If you don’t know the mod manager location then go to Baldur’s Gate 3 mod manager and right click on installed mods and then click “Open File Explore”

Now you can see where your Mods are… keep this open because where you can manually install the mods

Close the folder and close mon mod manager
Go to Files and click on “Manual Download” button.

Mod Fixer, Script extender, UI release ready, UI Assets – All these thing you will need to download to utilize this mod.

Note: We already installed Mod Fixer and Script Extender installed in above steps, so no need to install again.

Click on the “download” button and file will download under name “WoWDeathNightClass.pak” as you can see in below screen.

Now open the mod section which we minimize before and paste the above downloaded file into the mod folder.

Mod is installed here but not utilize yet! Close these folders and open “Mods Manager”, BG3MM will loading…

Once page load, you will see something different which is new Mod installed. There are two section which indicate that active (Left) and inactive (Right) mods.

Note: The inactive mod section shows that these mods are not already been used or installed yet.

All the mods which are installed and used are in number order as you can see in my process there are 1 to 37 game loads accordingly.

Now you have to take the inactive mod “WowDeathKnioghtClass” and drag into active mod section.

Sometime it does not shows the actual spot on which number the dragged file stand. So scroll up in active column and type “Wow” in search bar where you get the exact spot.

Optional: It on number 38, you can also change the loading sequin from 38 to above any loading spot.

Now go to “File” option and click on “Save Order”, it will help you to remember the order for next time.

Now in File option click on “Export Order Game” which allow the file to export go into the game.

Now instead of open Baldur’s Gate 3 from Steam, you can directly click on this button called “Launch Game” with mod manage.

Alright, now we installed the new mod and game main page start.

Now you can go to the new game where you can create new character and start classic.

Go to the character and click on Class Barbarian and see that Death Night class that we installed is here.

When you try to launch the app it will not open up and you will observe a security warning stating “You can’t open this application as it is from an unidentified developer”.
